Receptionist/Office Services Clerk

Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC, a law firm of 300 attorneys in over 30 practice groups, is accepting applications for a full-time Receptionist/Office Services Clerk in our Garden City, NY office. This position will act as the Firm's Receptionist, greeting the Firm's clients and visitors, providing an inviting and cordial atmosphere. This position will also also assist with various Office Services tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients, guests and vendors to the Firm
• Maintain records of all visitors and packages
• Receive, sort and distribute mail and all incoming packages and deliveries
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Maintain the reception area, conference rooms and visiting attorney offices
• Maintain the conference room and visiting attorney office schedule
• Work on special tasks and projects as requested by various departments
• Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals and staff as necessary
• Prepare interoffice mail and packages
• Hand deliveries to clients, courts or courier facilities, as needed
• Order and maintain inventory of all office/kitchen supplies
• Daily check of all copy areas, conference rooms and visiting attorney offices for supplies and cleanliness
• On and off site file closing
• Handle office relocations
• Set up offices for new hires
