Receptionist/Kennel Technician

Responsibilities:
- Provide care and support for animals in the kennel facility
- Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their individual needs
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Administer medications or treatments as directed by the veterinarian or supervisor
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior

- Answer phones in a professional manner.

-Schedule appointments and maintain office area.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with animals preferred but not required.
- Ability to handle animals with patience, compassion, and confidence
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and pet owners
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Skills:
- Personal assistant: Ability to assist with various administrative tasks as needed
- Proofreading: Attention to detail to review documents for accuracy and errors
- Typing: Proficiency in typing accurately and efficiently

- Computer skills: Proficiency in using computer software programs for data entry and record keeping

- Able to handling front desk duties such as greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments
- Able to perform office procedures, including filing, organizing documents

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
