Receptionist/Dog Bather (Full time)

Haus of Paws is a pet grooming salon located in Devon, PA. We are serving the main line and surrounding areas. We have been open for over 1 year and currently booked one month out in appointments. We know that pets are part of our families therefore we strive to make all our clients look and feel their best in a clean, stress-free environment, where they are loved and pampered. We are looking for Receptionist/Dog Bather who is motivated, detail oriented individual, and comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. 50% of the job will be bathing dogs and 50% of the job will be reception work. The ideal candidate has some experience in dog bathing. We will train the candidate if they are serious in joining the grooming industry. The successful candidate will be capable of multi-tasking throughout the day. The ideal candidate is forward thinking, efficient and ready to jump into an exciting role where they'll be involved in all aspects of company operations! Most importantly we are looking for somebody that loves dogs, has a positive energy and has leadership skills.

Receptionist Responsibilities:

* Greeting all clients into the salon

* Performing all check-in and check-out per appointment

* Manage phone appointments

* Register clients collected information for profile

* Maintain updated records of appointments

* Respond to clients' inquires in a timely and professional manner

* Run errands for the company and its employees

* Ensure lobby, front desk, bathing area, and salon is clean and tidy

* Assist groomers with tasks

* Communicate well with customers on the phone and in-person

* Need to be organized and a mutli-tasker

* Be motivated, engerized, pro-active, and ready to work

Bathing Responsibilities:

* Bathing and drying all dogs to completion

* Cleaning the bathing room (includes floors, walls, tubs, and break room)

* Doing the laundry and folding all towels

* Filling up shampoo and conditioner bottles

* Vacuuming the floors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
