Responsibilities of a receptionist:

• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail
• Maintain a tidy and organized reception area
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and filing
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service
• Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards in handling sensitive information

Qualifications for receptionist:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents, families, and colleagues
• Reliable and punctual
