SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The receptionist ensures the HMHP mission by demonstrating values of superior customer service and creates positive first and last impressions.
• The receptionist will assess and address all customer needs providing information and assistance.
• The receptionist's responsibilities are to provide quality service relations to patients, visitors, medical staff, volunteers and health center staff.
• The receptionist helps facilitate the activities of all inquiries at the information desk.
EDUCATION:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
• Customer, phone and PC experience is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• To be able to provide comfort and support to family in stressful situations.
• Phone and PC experience and excellent communication skills are a must.
• An understanding of HIPPA and patient confidentiality laws.
