Job Title: RECEPTIONIST – GILMORE Full-time 40 hours per weekPosition Reports To: Administrative Supervisor—Gilmore

General Statement of Duties:
The Receptionist—Gilmore, is responsible for the positive initial contact with the client and/or their representative and for maintaining a positive and calm environment in the Reception Area and Front Offices. The receptionist administers New-Client Paperwork, maintains client files and insures documents are filed correctly and assists in processing BH TEDS authorizations.
Tasks / Responsibilities:
· Open/Close office.
· Maintain confidentiality, at all levels.
· Retrieve and distribute phone messages.
· Prepare postage on outgoing mail.
· Answer and route incoming calls.
· Provide callers with appropriate information, explain policies and procedures.
· Build and maintain client charts, ensure proper filing. Alert the Clinical Supervisor
of errors.
· Assist with triage intakes, as needed.
· Sort, process and distribute mail.
· Create “Welcome Folders” for new clients.
· Assist with entering authorizations, as needed.
· Close discharged charts and scan materials in to the EHR system.
· Cross train with Admin Staff; back-up, as needed.
· Participate in ongoing staff training and in quality improvement efforts, as defined by the Strategic Plan and accrediting or regulating entities.
· Maintain professional relationships with staff, clients and community contacts.
· Contact AMA/ASA clients to complete the form.
· Perform other duties as directed by the Clinical Supervisor or Clinical Director.
Qualifications
High School Diploma, required. Some college, preferred.
Strong organizational skills and computer skills, required.
Job Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: Two years clerical experience, preferred.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work independently and on a team, required.
Ability to work professionally, confidently and tactfully with clients and third-party payers, required.
Working Conditions:
- Direct contact with alcohol and drug abusers including individuals that may use injectable drugs.
- Injectable drug users are at high risk for tuberculosis infection and other illnesses. All staff are required to be screened for tuberculosis and understand that exposure to tuberculosis is possible.
- Flu and Covid-19 Vaccines, required. Covid-19 booster, preferred.
- Work will be performed indoors in a climate-controlled office.

Salary: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour AND $3.20 per hour bonus pay
