Receiving Operator- Night Shift

Lone Star Dairy Products is a dairy ingredient manufacturer in Canyon, Texas providing high quality dried milk powders, butter, and cream to customers throughout the US and globally.

Job Summary:

The Receiving Operator is part of a team responsible for unloading bulk tankers of milk and loading tankers with cream while ensuring all quality and regulatory requirements are met. This position is for the Night Shift (6pm-6am) and is on a 2 week rotating schedule.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review paperwork and ensure product meets quality standards
• Hook up tankers for unloading and washing
• Wash silos and receiving bays
• Input load data into process control system
• Loading tankers with product
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
• Conduct regulatory and quality testing
• Follow written and verbal procedures
• Additional tasks as assigned by Supervisors and Managers

Employment Requirements:

• Must pass a drug screening
• Must be able to follow all safety policies and attend safety training
• Applicant must be able to work 12 hour Night Shifts on a rotating schedule
• Must complete a pre-employment physical
• Must pass a background check
• Must have reliable transportation
• General math, reading, and writing skills
• Dependable
• High School diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.38 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
