SCOPE AND MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
Responsible for the receipt and shipment of all equipment and supplies for the casino and lodge.
Requirements
SYNOPSIS OF DUTIES
1. Responsible for the receipt and inspection of all food, beverages, forms, linen, uniforms, supplies, merchandise and equipment ordered and used by the enterprise.
2. Responsible for balancing all purchase orders against shipments by verifying product number, description and quantity with packing/shipping lists and noting any discrepancies and reporting them to the purchasing agent.
3. Responsible for delivering products received to the ordering department and acquiring all necessary signatures.
4. Responsible for, along with the Storeroom Clerk, verifying quality, quantity, freshness, and pricing of food and beverage items by cross referencing the purchase order with the shipment invoice. Noting all discrepancies and reporting them to the enterprise purchasing agent, refusing actual items not listed on invoices, and returning item overages or reporting shortages.
5. Checks all incoming U.S. mail for small items ordered by purchase order and inspects/delivers items as previously described, then delivers remaining mail to the Administrative Assistant.
6. Responsible for preparing items being shipped for the enterprise in accordance with procedures established by the shipper (U.S. Postal Service, UPS, Fed Ex, and various freight lines).
7. Prepares shipping memo that includes value of item(s) being shipped for added insurance coverage provided by carrier.
8. Responsible for pick-up and delivery of internal office mail three times per day.
9. Performs Access Guard duties in the absence of regular guards by issuing and receiving visitor ID badges, employee ID badges, issuing and receiving keys, and answering telephones for Access and Security.
PREREQUISITES
General: Must be age 21 or older. Must qualify for a Tribal Key Gaming license. Must possess a valid state driver's license.
Education: High School diploma or GED preferred but not required. Must have basic mathematical skill.
Experience: Previous warehouse experience helpful. Must be detail and numbers oriented and have strong organizational skills.
Physical: Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods up to six (6) hours in length. Must have good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel and have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds into storage bins and shelves.
