AddressThe Receiver performs the tasks of quality controlling inbound shipments from our Vendor Partners and customers.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Quality Control by accurately inspecting, counting, and receiving in products using RF scanner or AS400 menu options.
- Utilize pallet-jack or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to move product or skids on the warehouse floor.
- Follow Preferred Methods and Safety guidelines.
- Rotate throughout the Receiving department performing various receiving functions, including housekeeping.
- Assist other areas of Operations, including cross-department functions, for training and operational purposes.
Other Responsibilities
- Quality control product using RF scanners.
- Sort, unbox, count, scan, cube, bundle, and label product.
- Offload parcel trailers manually.
- Communicate with the Data Entry team to ensure proper receipt of products when questions or discrepancies arise during the quality control process.
- Attain individual and department goals.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- Previous receiving or waarehouse experience.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational, counting, and multitasking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
- Ability to perform 8 or more hours of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying products in any combination at any given time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (team-lift for anything above 50 lbs).
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment which includes changes in temperature as the weather fluctuates, noise from conveyors, and forklifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AS400 and/or RF scanner.
