  • Our client is looking for a Project Manager with experience managing projects corresponding with network/telecom/infrastructure for new building construction or renovation projects.
  • This resource will manage new building construction or renovated building projects for hospital - urgent care or clinical facilities.
  • There will be occasional local travel to sites in the Baltimore or DC area as required for new building or renovation projects.

Required Skills:

1. Resource must have a minimum of 5 years Project Management experience.

2. Resource must have a minimum of 2 years of facilities, building (new construction or renovated building) related Project Management experience corresponding with telecommunications, network and infrastructure.

3. Resource must understand network/communications/infrastructure.

4. Must be local to the DC or Baltimore area and willing to go onsite when ever required.

5. Must be COVID-19 fully vaccinated per client requirements.

6. We can accept a 1 week notice only. We need resources that can start immediately.

7. Candidate must have experience with building/facility/property site plans (understanding where network drops should go/WAP placement etc.) and how to work with the Engineering or Architecture staff but no licenses are needed or permit experience required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Project Manager with an understanding of Project Management Processes, Artifacts, and Tools in the Health Care Industry with the ability to manage multiple technical project stakeholders in Networking, Cabling, Desktop, Printer, Voice, and Compute areas.

PM Responsibilities:

• Work with client to develop project scope in collaboration with multiple internal teams and third-party vendors

• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

• Manage resource engagement

• Develop a detailed project plan and routinely update status

• Proactive Issues and Escalations Management

• Weekly tracking and reporting of actuals against baseline scope and budget

• Influence stakeholders using Project Management and Technical Expertise to identify, communicate and manage project issues.

• Ensure project is complete and up to standards

• Understanding site and floor plans, coordinating walkthroughs at hospitals and clinical locations
