Interact with members. Gather information. Prepare and process Real Estate loan applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Obtain a thorough knowledge of loan procedures and policies.
- Handle phone inquiries from members and staff.
- Assist with clerical duties: mail loan forms, file, prepare Loan Estimates, complete payroll allocations, etc.
- Interview members and gather information for loan officer approval of loan.
- Obtain credit ratings/credit reports from outside agencies.
- Correspond with attorneys to ensure that necessary information is obtained.
- Process approved loans. Disburse loan proceeds.
- Process adverse action forms for denied loans.
- Maintain member loan files: supporting loan documents, check-back’s.
- Prepare Funds in Progress report.
- Audit Real Estate loan files.
- Prepare and administer closings for Real Estate Loans.
- Cross sell other credit union services.
- Any other duties assigned by management.
- Complies with all federal, state, and organizational policies, procedures, and processes, including (but not limited to) the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Performs related responsibilities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong social skills and professional appearance.
- Team player with department and other branch staff.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Great attention to detail, writing skills and proof reading.
- Organization skills and math computation abilities.
- Extensive use of PC and sitting for long periods of time.
- High level of confidentiality is mandatory.
The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors determined by law.

Pay: $16.73 - $20.91 per hour
