Reading Country Club - Seasonal Golf Staff

Position Summary:

Exeter Township is seeking hardworking, reliable individuals to work the golf season which typically runs from April until late fall. Ideal candidates enjoy working with the public, working outdoors, has an understanding of the rules and regulations of golf, and motivation to help assist with all golf course activities.

General Duties:

• Sales transactions, including cash handling and utilizing the point-of-sale system.
• Assisting customers with tee time reservations and providing information on course availability.
• Ensuring golf carts are properly staged, clean, and ready for use.
• Managing the daily maintenance and cleanliness of outdoor golf equipment.
• Supporting the coordination and execution of golf events, tournaments, and outings.
• Building positive relationships with patrons to encourage repeat business.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Must be at least 17 years of age
• Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in a golf or sports-related environment.
• Basic computer skills for point-of-sale transactions.
• Previous experience in golf course operations preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of golf rules and etiquette.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
