React Developer For Software Holding Company

We are looking for a developer who will be responsible for building features, fixing bugs, and maintaining Electron and web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong React, Typescript/JavaScript, and HTML/CSS skills. The perfect person is someone who cares about getting the job done and taking pride in their work and finding creative solutions to challenging problems.

The ideal individual is characterized by their dedication to completing tasks effectively and taking personal satisfaction in their work. Additionally, they possess the ability to devise innovative solutions to intricate problems.

For this role, we only process candidates that are based in the Philippines and have legal authorization to work in the Philippines.

About the OTA Client

We are a small and nimble team of builders and designers who own a collection of software tools. We sweat the details and enjoy building apps used by thousands of people. We are revamping a few apps that need refactoring for performance and a better user experience.

The current applications we need help with are as follows:

• Metadata Fixer- An Electron application that helps people merge metadata from Google Photos into their files.

• Chatterdocs - A NextJS/Supabase app that helps businesses add AI to their site to help answer questions and collect leads.

• Checkli - A Laravel and React app that helps businesses create and share checklists/processes with teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features and enhancements for existing web applications using React.

• Maintain and improve the performance of existing React applications

• Work with other developers to design and implement new features

• Collaborate with designers to create user-friendly and intuitive interfaces

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with TanStack Query, Redux, MobX, or other state management libraries

• Experience with unit testing and CI/CD pipelines
