- Follow and perform test setup operation and disassembly as defined in prewritten company test procedures and customer request.
- Design and construct test fixtures.
- Create and record data files and communicate data as needed.
- Prepares, conduct testing and evaluates and interrupt results.
- Perform maintenance on hydraulic systems, electrical systems and other industrial equipment.
- Communicate with lab personnel, lab manager, and other engineering staff.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Education and Experience:
- Completion of three semesters, MET, Mech Eng., Physics, or other relevant science/engineering disciplines
- Self-directed work attitude
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment preferred
- Knowledge of design activities
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Knowledge and experience with MS office and other related Microsoft programs required
- Knowledge of CAD design tools
Competencies:
- Strong mechanical aptitude, hands on mind set
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with cross functional teams
- Ability to Identify failure modes within sealing systems, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, climb stairs
