R&D Technician

Medix is currently hiring for a Research and Development Technician to work for a growing food and beverage manufacturer in the greater Dallas area. This is a contract to direct hire opportunity with full benefits. This role will be responsible for following batch instructions to create custom orders for customers.

Location: Carrollton, TX

Hours: M-F, 8AM to 5PM

Pay: $20-22/HR, based on experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology, or related field
• Knowledge of safe food handling
• Previous food/beverage lab experience is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Following batch instructions to mix and blend spices and ingredients
• Weigh and blend ingredients
• Operate industrial kitchen/lab equipment
• Create samples of product for customers
