Role Purpuse
Responsibilities:
- Lead new food exploration and innovation territory programs.
- Lead R&D input into constructive discussions for NPD assessment, solution finding and trade off analysis, building on commercialization process and business understanding.
- Lead generation of compelling & creative product prototypes to illustrate technical possibilities to build business and stakeholder interest / alignment and influence development direction.
- Understand, design and apply insights from consumer research, concept and product testing to deliver agenda, partnering closely with functional business partners.
- Manage Front End Innovation project(s) leading and driving governance process accountability.
- Work with internal and external partners to bring outside perspectives to enhance our innovation capabilities.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $102,800 - $172,100 based on a full-time schedule.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

- Minimum of 7 years’ experience with ideally 3 years or more in the food industry
- First Degree or equivalent in a Food Science or Chemistry-related discipline.
- Strategic thinker with strong verbal and written communication skills to influence senior leaders, ability to create vision and articulate fact based information into simple actions
- Flexible and comfortable with change; ability to balance need to deliver aggressive business innovation goals with scientific excellence, working with ambiguity.
- Successful track record of results delivery, demonstrated via history of innovation concepts to commercial application and scale.
- Proven record of building effective partnerships with other R&D leaders and cross-functional partners to ensure relevant, high impact global agendas.
- Highly creative and collaborative working style with a global perspective and cultural appreciation.
- Skilled at understanding consumer foresights and identifying new business possibilities.
- Passion for creativity and innovation within a commercially driven environment
- Highly experienced thought leader with ability to seamless lead cross-functional teams that lead to innovative pipeline creation.
