Test and Analyze the Drug Products, Drug Substances and Excipients using the Analytical Instruments such as but not limited to HPLC, GC, IR, Karl Fisher Apparatus, Viscometer, Rheometer, Microscopy, Dissolution etc using cGMP. Document the results in the Laboratory Notebooks. Provide a summary of the results as requested by the management and interpret the data in assessing the Drug Substance, Excipients or Drug Product Quality and characteristics. Provide support to Product Development and Analytical Scientists in preparation of Solutions, buffers, Product Batches etc.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1.
Help the analytical and product development scientists to prepare solutions, buffers, mobile phase, dissolution medium, samples etc.
2.
Testing of the drug substance, excipients, drug products using various analytical instruments.
3.
Document the preparations, raw data and results in laboratory notebooks
4.
Interpret data and provide summary of the data with interpretations to the laboratory management.
5.
Help the lab management in other document preparations or arrangements as per quality and cGMP requirements
Position Requirements
Educational Major Preferred:
Rising Junior or Senior in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences
Experience/Skills Preferred:
Excellent Analytical, and trouble shooting skills. Good Writing and communication skills.
