Salary Range:
$72,800 - $83,200 yearly salary (hourly equivalent is $35-$40)
Job Details:
*Please note this is for a server hardware test lab - we would like candidates with test lab experience.
This person will be responsible for carrying out any and all day to day operations in the lab. These responsibilities will cover a wide range of warehouse, lab, and datacenter activities. The following is a list of the current responsibilities of the lab. New opportunities will also present themselves as the lab evolves and grows.
Responsibilities
· Installing, running, and maintaining immersion cooling equipment.
· Installing and removing server equipment in our immersion tanks
· Using lifting equipment to remove and replace 300+ lb servers.
· Safe chemical handling for filling and draining tanks.
· Running test cases, gathering data and publishing reports.
· Assisting in the set up and conducting high voltage power tests with the Power Eng. team
· Shipping, receiving and other warehouse activities needed to run the lab.
· Maintaining spares inventory and supplies, to keep the lab operational.
· Maintaining air cooled server room in an operational condition
· Setting up and running and collecting data from reliability experiments
Desired Skills and Experience
· Experience in mechanical assembly and disassembly of mechanical devices
· Experience in assembly and disassembly of electronic assemblies
· Experience in Data Center operations
· Experience in Data Center rack hardware
· Experience in cabling and networking of computer and server hardware
· Experience in lab, Data Center and warehouse safety procedures
· Experience in printed circuit board assemblies, manufacturing, and rework processes
· Ability to collect data and publish reports.
