Hawaii Behavioral Health has an immediate opening for an RBT (or a Direct Service Worker willing to be certified through the HBH ABA Program) in Oahu's North Shore (specifically Laie-Kahuku) area. JOB DESCRIPTION

  • SCHEDULING:
    • Full-time availability preferred; part-time available.
    • Before school (M-F, 5-8am), after school (M-F, 5:30-9pm), Saturdays (12-9pm), and/or Sundays (two shifts: 8am-2pm; 2pm-9pm) are available.
  • RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Implementation of treatment plans developed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) addressing communication, behavior, feeding, and social skill needs
    • Monitor the progress of clients and work closely with the BCBA to update treatment plans as necessary
    • The ABA technician/RBT position is a part-time, hourly position, working in a client home or in the community
    • After-school, weekend, in-home, and daytime hours are available
  • REQUIREMENTS:
    • Valid RBT certification (Hawaii Behavioral Health offers a certification training program)
    • High School Diploma minimum, Associate’s or Bachelor's degrees preferred
    • Experience working with individuals with autism, other intellectual or developmental disabilities, and/or severe problem behavior preferred
    • CPR/BLS certification preferred but not required
