Join our Team! Atlanta Autism Center is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) for full-time (8-5p) and part-time (8-1p or 1-5p) positions at all 4 locations:
- Lawrenceville
- Peachtree Corners
- PTC Spalding
- Alpharetta
- Covington
Job Description- Deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 or small group format- Accurately implement skill acquisition programs and implement the individual treatment plan- Accurately implement behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plans- Maintain precise and meticulous client progress records, which may include data sheets, graphs, daily notes, anecdotal information, etc.- Maintain a safe, clean, stimulating, and fun environment for the client- Collaborate with the client family and related professionals as needed regarding client updates, progress, behavioral concerns, etc.- Uphold company policies and standards of conduct; implement ABA intervention in line with the BACB ethical guidelines- Promptly report all incidents of abuse/neglect and train others to recognize signs of abuse, neglect, and exploitation- Provide high quality customer service to clients and their families- Participate in initial and ongoing staff training as offered, as well as commit to continued learning and performance improvement.
100% Center-based. BCBA supervisor works on site as well.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20/hr to start as RBT1 w/ advancement opportunities to Level up (3 Levels) for an additional $1/hr per Level. PLUS Additional $1/hr raises every 3 months (up to 4 increases)! 32-40 hours scheduling, Comprehensive Training program; 2 weeks PTO, 1 week UTO, 3 Paid Mental Health days, 8 Paid Holidays including 1 Floating Holiday; Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, 401k; advancement opportunities.
Requirements:Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Current/Valid RBT Certificate
- H.S. Diploma/GED required; Bachelors, or associate’s degree in psychology, social work, special education or related field preferred.
- CPR certification or eligible to get certified within 90 days of hire
- Relevant experience preferred.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry patients.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal relationship skills
- Desire for continued learning opportunities, and willingness to embrace instruction
- Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team members.
- Computer skills.
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders required.
