What we Need:
The Raw Material Stock Handler is primarily responsible for the timely delivery of Raw Materials to various manufacturing cells within the plant to ensure production continuity. This position is responsible for stocking the Raw Material Warehouse (RMW) as material is received, quality checks, accurate cycle counting of Raw Materials, and RMW housekeeping.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering Raw Materials to manufacturing cell within 30 minutes of production operator request.
- Restocking consumables at manufacturing and distribution work centers as needed.
- Executing monthly disposition of excess and obsolete Raw Materials.
- Transferring Raw Materials from receiving dock to RMW and slot into correct storage location; relocate as necessary due to stock level fluctuations.
- Performing quality and quantity checks of all materials entering or exiting the RMW.
- Ensuring inventory integrity by accurate cycle counting of all materials within the RMW as scheduled.
- Operating equipment/machinery such as Hand Pallet, Forklift and Pallet Jack to perform various duties (certification done on site).
- Communicating concerns proactively as they arise.
- Performing general RMW housekeeping in support of Brady safety initiatives.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful:
- Ability to read and understand product labels, count accurately and perform basic arithmetic.
- Strong computer skills required to generate and enter cycle counts, perform stock transfers, monitor goods movement, and navigate part history (SAP experience preferred).
- Effective and proactive communicator to internal and external customers.
- Must be able to prioritize workload with minimal oversight.
- Proficient in the use of material handling equipment including fork trucks and pallet jacks.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
