Rapid Response Caregiver

We are Hiring a Rapid Response Caregiver for Monday- Friday Day Shift hours serving clients in home care in West Washington County including- Hillsboro, Banks, North Plains, Forest Grove, Gaston and surrounding areas.

Overview:

• This is an hourly position Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Essential job functions require standing, walking, bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, carrying and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Must have Caregiving experience

·Provide

o Companionship and conversation

o Providing stabilization and assistance with walking

o Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items

o Providing medication reminders and appointment reminders

o Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)

o Washing and ironing laundry

o Running errands

o Accompanying clients to appointments

· Provide Personal Care services which could include:

o Assisting with bathing

o Assisting with grooming

o Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues

o Advanced Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care

o Hospice Care

• During shift hours, it is expected that you answer your phone and or call back within 15 minutes. **It is your responsibility to ensure your phone is charged
• Nurture a positive working relationship with Caregivers, Office Staff, and Clients.

· Assist with office administrative tasks in the office when not on shift

Required

• Compassion, honesty and dependability a must!
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 25 pounds
• Must have reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license, current car insurance with you listed a driver on the policy (Drivers License not required for over night shifts in Washington county)
• Must be willing to drive up to 20 miles from your home
• Must pass DMV background
• Background check
• Pre-employment drug screening
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and communicate clearly in English
