Ranch Hand

• Perform fence construction, maintenance, and repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of ranch facilities.
• Operate and maintain ranch equipment and machinery.
• Assist with caring for livestock as needed, including, but not limited to, feeding, working and hauling cattle, and processing calves.
• Ensure that water, forage, feed, and minerals are sufficient for all cattle.
• Assist with planting and spraying as needed.
• Assist with any other ranch activities as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have ranch/farm experience - references must be provided.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check and alcohol/drug use prior to reporting to work, during work, or when on call is not permitted.
• Must be able to work an average of 50 hours per week and a 9-hour workday (workload and schedule will vary seasonally).
• Must be able to follow instructions, work with a team, and think independently.
• Must communicate effectively and maintain positive relationships with co-workers and customers while representing the ranch.

Salary negotiable based on experience and skill set.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Ranching/Farming: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
