Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Deep Dive into L2/L3 Protocols:
- Analyze KPIs specific to 5G/LTE L2 layers (MAC, RLC, PDCP) and L3 layer (RRC) to pinpoint optimization opportunities.
- Possess a thorough understanding of protocol interactions and their impact on network performance.
- Identify and troubleshoot protocol-level issues affecting network efficiency and quality of service.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead design and development activities
- Own and deliver high and low level solution design ensuring approval from stakeholders within stipulated time
- Lead and mentor development team from prototyping to production deployment.
- Support and own troubleshooting of complex issues during design, development and support phase
- Liaise with architecture community from customer end in all design level discussions and decisions
- Protocol-Centric Optimization:
- Develop and implement optimization strategies specifically targeting L2/L3 protocols, including:
- MAC configuration adjustments for improved resource allocation and scheduling
- RLC configuration optimization for enhanced error handling and retransmission efficiency
- PDCP configuration tuning for efficient header compression and ciphering
- RRC parameter optimization for effective radio bearer management and mobility control
- Protocol Expertise in Action:
- Collaborate with other engineers to troubleshoot network issues with a focus on protocol-level analysis.
- Stay abreast of the latest 5G/LTE protocol advancements and best practices.
- Effectively communicate protocol-related concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Generic Managerial Skills Manage a team of 15 members
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
Skills : Design, optimize, and troubleshoot Radio Access Network (RAN) elements to ensure optimal performance and coverage
