- Collect and analyze data using various predictive technologies
- Make recommendations to maintenance
- Complete and submit work orders as necessary
- Assist with on-site training for operations and maintenance employees
- Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
- Three (3) or more years of experience working in a mechanical field
- Working knowledge and understanding of basic mechanical principles (hydraulic, pneumatic, fluid mechanical systems)
- Interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient computer skills in a Windows environment (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
- Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude. The selected candidate shall demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills while also passing a written assessment where required. This exam is based on skills/abilities and/or academic knowledge; as well as safety.
Preferred
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience with, and knowledge of SAP
- Hands-on maintenance experience with mining of other heavy equipment
- Experience with Caterpillar VIMS, Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET), and Centurion software systems
- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
- Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
- Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
- Personal protective equipment is required on a regular basis, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toed boots, protective clothing, gloves and other protective equipment
- Employee will be required to work in environments which may include exposure to extreme temperatures and humidity
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, and work on elevated platforms
- Occasionally may be required to lift up to fifty (50) pounds during the course of the work day
- Employee will be required to work rotating shifts, work overtime, and respond to call outs in a 24/7/365 operation

Compensation:
The estimated pay range for this role is currently $26.00 - $35.50/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process. Safety / Work Conditions:
