Railroad Laborer / Hostler Driver

Railroad Laborer / Hostler Driver
- Driving/Operating a Hostler vehicle within the railyard to unload and transport intermodal containers off the track.
- Moving intermodal containers from the railcars to trailers via Top Loaders, Side Loaders, Cranes, etc.
- Climbing up & down rail car ladders to lock & unlock intermodal containers
- Comply with all safety, attendance, operations & training guidelines.

Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Physically & mentally able to climb railcars, 20 feet
- Availability to work Tuesday-Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm (Weekends & Holidays)
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to complete a criminal background, drug screen and physical

- This position requires you to have a valid driver’s license. This means no suspensions, no restrictions, no limitations, and no expired license. Do you currently have a VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE?
- This position will require you be able to lift 50lbs, bending, lifting and climbing. Are you willing and able to do this?
- This role is working at the Railroad and as such is open 24 hours a day. 7 days a week, including holidays. You will be working shifts 5 days a week - with overtime. Your work schedule will include weekends and holidays. Are you willing and able to work this schedule?
