- Day Shift.
- ON call as needed
Candidates:
- Should have a minimum of 2-year experience in the mechanical field and be preventative maintenance minded.
- Must have own tools (Yearly tool allowance provided).
- Must have experience and knowledge working with Air, Electrical, Hydraulic and Diesel systems and components.
- Will need a valid driver's license.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair lift equipment, repair forklifts, company vehicles, and hostler fleet.
- Be proficient with maintenance, diagnosis and repairs of lift equipment and diesel tractor maintenance.
- Adherence to company, railroad and industry safety rules and policies.
- Recognize and identify non-diesel-specific related repair or maintenance items such as safety appliances, tires, etc.
- Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance which includes identifying and repairing damaged or worn components.
- Troubleshoot and repair electric, diesel and hydraulic components on lift equipment and diesel tractors.
- Keep a clean, safe and productive workplace at all times.
- Document all work performed to maintain vehicle and equipment record integrity.
- Maintain a positive and learning teamwork atmosphere by acting and communicating in a professional, courteous and helpful manner.
- Assist in other areas as needed by managers.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 with verifiable mechanical experience.
- Candidates must undergo a background check.
- Must be able to pass a physical strength test.
- Drug screening ( as we operate heavy machinery, Marijuana is strictly prohibited)
- Must be able to provide your own tools
