Railcar Cleaner

Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Railcar Cleaner to join our team at our St. Louis, MO Milling location. As a Railcar Cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the fleet of bulk PD railcars.
Responsibilities:

• Operate the railcar vacuum and air compressor
• Disassemble, reassemble, troubleshoot and repair PD railcars and railcar equipment
• Work on and around rail tracks safely
• Ensure the loadout area is organized and clean at all times
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, while complying with legal regulations
• Learn and execute basic equipment maintenance to improve production reliability
• Communicate effectively with Loadout Supervisors and maintenance department and assist when required

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating trackmobile and bobcat equipment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work in conditions with exposure to dust, noise, and temperature extremes
• Must be capable of lifting and stacking up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Ability to work from heights with proper use of fall protection devices
• Ability to work rotating shifts including evenings and weekends
