Sign on Bonus: $5,000
Shifts Available:
Wed - Fri 7p to 7a with rotating Saturdays
or
Matrix Schedule 12p to 10:30p
Key Responsibilities:
Perform radiography exams with a focus on compliance with radiation safety procedures.
Prep patients, record vital signs, explain procedures, and administer IV and contrast when needed.
Ensure technical quality of images by selecting appropriate imaging techniques and positioning patients accurately.
Enter and monitor patient data, perform quality assurance on radiology equipment.
Assist with accreditation applications and report any incidents or equipment malfunctions.
Be part of the on-call team, including weekends and potential float to other locations.
Administer breath alcohol tests and/or urine drug screens as required.
Conduct patient registration tasks such as insurance verification and payment collection.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Successful completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Licenses/Certification:
- Certification in Basic or Advanced Life Support, mandatory.
- Current Texas Medical Board license (MRT), either permanent or temporary, is required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) registration is a prerequisite.
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
- Capable of lifting and maneuvering patients with the assistance of others to fulfill job responsibilities.
