Radiology Veterinary Technician-Mri

Radiology Technician (MRI/CT)

Responsibilities and Skills:

• Manage the MRI schedule with other radiology team members
• Work in collaboration with a boarded radiologist/neurologist.
• Communicate with other departments within the hospital to streamline MRI scheduling for efficiency and productivity.
• Review patient history and become familiar with each individual case prior to diagnostic imaging.
• CT and MRI machine maintenance.
• Positioning patients according to established protocols
• Adjusting equipment as needed to produce high-quality images
• Evaluating images to make sure they meet the ordering doctors' requirements

Qualifications:

• MRI certification required, CT certification a plus.
• Organized and have excellent time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

This job is physically active and requires frequent bending and standing for long periods of time. It requires routine lifting. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Position:

This position is available as part-time or per diem. We specifically need to fill day shifts on Friday and Saturday.
