Radiology Technologist

Adecco Medical & Science is hiring multiple Radiology Technologistsin Irving, TX! Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.
Type: 2-month contract, with potential for extension or full time permanent offer
Schedule: Monday to Friday: 1st shift 7:30 AM - 4PM; 2nd shift 8AM - 4:30PM; 3rd shift 9AM - 5:30 PM
Pay: $37 to 39.47/hr
Location: Irving, TX
Dress: Scrubs, blue or black
Responsibilities of the Radiology Technologist:
· Performs a variety of quality radiology procedures using utilizing X-Ray and DEXA equipment.
· Provides radiation protection to patients and staff, consistent with current State Department of Health standards and regulations.
· Appropriately adapts assigned client assessment, treatment and/or care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural,
· and age-specific and other developmental needs of each person served.
· Maintains all equipment and paperwork in compliance with TDH standards and regulations as coordinated through the Radiation Safety Office.
· Maintains supplies, checks equipment status daily and reports any problems that could change the workflow.
· Correctly formats images, prints CD, and sends to the PACS.
· Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the Radiology Technologist:

• High school graduate or GED
  
• License and registry through ARRT required in Radiography
  
• BLS certification required
  
• Current MRT License through Texas Medical Board (TMB)
  
• Immunizations: MMR, Flu, Varicella, TB, Hep B. and Tdap
  
• At least 2 years of X-ray experience in a fast paces multi physician environment
