Job Description
What The Radiologist Technologist will do:
- Follows established procedures and guidelines while performing a wide variety of Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab interventional procedures.
- Assists radiologist, cardiologists, and nurses in providing quality patient care during interventional procedures.
- Responsible for the production of high-quality diagnostic radiographs and / or imaging.
- Scrub duties based on roles and responsibilities.
What The Radiologist Technologist will need:
- Completion of an approved American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) program.
- Registered Technologist or registry-eligible with registry completed within one year of hire.
- Can be new grad
- Preferred: Two years' experience as a Radiology Technologist, working in a hospital Radiology Department.
- Exposure to invasive procedures preferred.
- Preferred: Experienced IR.
- Preferred: Cardiac Cath experience strongly desired.
Hours of Work:
- 36 hours a week (four - nine hour shifts 0730-1630), one night a week on call, AND every 3-4 weekend on-call
