Radiology Clerk – Part Time -Day/Evening

Daily duties will include but not limited to keeping track of worklists in PACS, Epic, Ambra, Radiqal, and PACS Health. Process daily requests from various clinics, operating rooms, hospital floors, and patients for radiology images and reports. Employed by radiology to complete a variety of duties, such as: greeting patients, scheduling appointments, collecting patient data, maintaining filing systems and radiology documents, making printouts from digital images, and sending X-ray images via CD to physicians or patients.
Other responsibilities include answering daily inquiries from hospital staff and outside agencies by telephone and in person. Instructs hospital staff in the proper use of the Radiology Records department. Training hospital staff on hospital applications such as PACS, Epic and Ambra.
Providing coverage in the Department when needed and perform other special projects and duties as assigned.
The shift for this position is every weekend 8a-4p and 1 alternate weekday 1p-9p. This position is located at our Westchester Campus, in Bronxville, NY.
Preferred Criteria
- One-year prior clerical, office experience
- Familiarity with PACS and EPIC
Required Criteria
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
