As Southeast Orthopedic Specialists continues to grow, we are looking for a Radiologic Technologist for our Southpark Clinic (St. Augustine, FL)! Please see below for the functions and requirements for this position:

GENERAL SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITESOur Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing radiology procedures and operating X-ray equipment.POSITION: Radiologic Technologist
JOB TYPE: Full-Time
LOCATION: St. Augustine, FL - Southpark Clinic
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs radiology procedures as ordered by physicians and providers.
- Travels to other clinics as directed by Chief Technologist and/or Radiology Director.
- Processes room add-on cases prior to scheduled cases.
- Uses equipment in compliance to all safety requirements.
- Complies with all HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
- Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians, employees and other departments.
- Responds to patient questions as required to resolve issues and maintain high patient satisfaction levels.
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
EDUCATION
- Associates Degree in Radiology Technology and current ARRT certification.
EXPERIENCE
- One – two years experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital or clinic environment.
REQUIREMENT
- Current state and ARRT certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of radiology exam policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of operating a PC and applicable computer software.
- Knowledge of safety requirements within the department.
SKILLS
Skill in production of radiology exams.
Skill in obtaining patient information via the computer.
Skill in maintaining professional relationships with patients, family members and the public.
