ID: 57073262 Shift: 10:00 AM-8:30 PM Description: Position Summary:Performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Gives straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence to patients and ensure the needs of individual patients are met.Operates and maintains all assigned imaging department equipment including but not limited to x-ray.Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images requested by a physician.Accurately performs all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws; ensures the physician on duty is notified of the results. Submission requirements: 2+ Years of Experience - RequiredExperience with X-ray - RequiredTravel - RequiredBLS must be AHA - must be willing to obtain prior to startHealth system-wide profile standardsReferences NOT required.A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.Michigan license verification is required for nurses.
