Radiology Technologist Position Summary:
The Radiology Technologist utilizes ionizing radiation and technical skills to produce advanced diagnostic imaging for interpretation by the radiologist.
Radiology Technologist Key Accountabilities:
- Produces and evaluates radiological images to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of these images for the treatment of patients
- Adheres to image specific policies related to quality and safety established by Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital and regulatory and accreditation governing bodies
- Demonstrates analytical skills required for determining technical factors for proper exposure levels
- Practical knowledge of various DR fixed and portable imaging equipment as well as computer skills including PACS and RIS.
Work Hours: 8:30pm - 8am, FT, 40 hrs/wk, wknd work required
Work Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Radiology Technologist Qualifications:
- Satisfactory completion of Radiography program from an AMA accredited Radiography school
- Florida State Radiography License
- ARRT registered
- Current Basic Life Support, AHA
