The Radiological Technologist, CT will be expected to assist in providing radiologic diagnostic testing and related patient care in support of the attending physicians. They will be accountable for operating radiologic equipment to create x-rays or imaging for use in medical diagnosis activities. They will instruct the patient as well as position the patient, adjust the equipment and observe the patient during the procedure.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High School diploma and satisfactory completion of an accredited course in radiologic technology or associate degree or bachelor's degree program related to the radiology field.
A current CPR certification and current California/National Certification as a Radiologic Technologist are required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or dually certified in both AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support and AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
CT or MRI license is required. Venipuncture license is required.
A minimum of two (2) years experience in radiology imaging modalities is required.
Must have thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology, radiology equipment and testing and safety hazards. Position may be required to train co-workers.
