Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Atlanta, GA
Shift: 5x8s - 40hrs/wk - Days
Blended Rate: $50/hr - $2,000/wk
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and other specialized imaging techniques, as required.
- Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to radiation safety regulations and utilizing appropriate shielding techniques.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine imaging needs and discuss patient conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including imaging results, observations, and other relevant information.
- Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
- Continuously stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and techniques to provide the most effective and reliable imaging services.
- Adhere to all departmental and organizational policies and protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and exceptional patient care throughout all interactions.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Valid certification or registration as a Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- State licensure or be eligible for licensure in North Carolina.
- At least two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with proficiency in various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiographic positioning techniques, and radiation safety practices.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions and protocols.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime if needed.
- Ability to handle potentially stressful situations and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Continuous commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with technological advances in the field.
