Daily Tasks & Responsibilities
- Obtaining an up-to-date schedule of patients to be seen.
- Coordinate with team members to determine who will need x-rays prior to the clinic.
- Properly, and accurately maintain the tracking board in a timely fashion.
- Determine which rooms are open prior to leaving the x-ray suite, to avoid clinical disruption.
- Escort patients to and from the x-ray suite in a friendly and comfortable manner, in full HIPAA compliance.
- Properly sanitize all equipment in between patients.
- Enter all patient information correctly into PACS.
- Maintaining radiology reports on a daily basis.
- Follow up with doctors for any incomplete rad reports.
- Any other duties and/or special projects as assigned by supervisors or management.
Expectations
- All of these expectations are in addition to the set forth Primus Orthopedics Core Values & Expectations document.
- You are expected to maintain up-to-date licensure as it relates to the State of Illinois and must pocess an AART certification
- You are expected to maintain equipment on a daily basis, reporting any issues or concerns to the Practice Administrator as soon as they are discovered.
- You are expected to assist in coordinating maintenance visits, updates, etc. with MXR or Hologic, per instruction from the Practice Administrator.
- If new or replacement equipment is needed, you may be expected to collect quotes and other information from vendors.
- It is expected that you will work closely with the front desk, and the clinical department to allow for the clinic to function quickly and efficiently.
Physical Requirements
- This position requires physical exertion during clinic hours, more than 50% of the time.
- Employees must be able to assist with moving patients who are not fully mobile, lift and hold limb(s) in order to obtain x-rays, or assist with procedures.
- Employees must be able to bend, stoop, twist or kneel in order to obtain proper imaging or other patient care.
- Employees must be able to grasp, move or assemble objects.
