Radiographer Intern - Radiology - Days

Job Description:

Following the rules and regulations of the Joint Review Commission and under the direction of a Certified Radiographer, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level, requiring and maintaining indirect supervision. Performs a variety of radiologic procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative to use the proper methods and technical skills to achieve quality examinations. Assumes responsibility for the radiographic procedures within the designated work area.

 Duties and Responsibilities

1. Transfers and positions patients. Provides immobilization devices as needed.
2. Selects proper technical factors on an individual patient basis. Selects and operates equipment in order to produce quality radiographic images.

Qualifications

• Must be a student within an accredited program in radiologic technology, who has maintained satisfactory completion of all clinical competency requirements throughout the radiologic technology program.
