Responsibilities
The Radiographer III under the general supervision of the Technical Supervisor and under the direction of the Radiologist performs those functions necessary to produce quality diagnostic images. Operates complex radiographic equipment both mobile and stationary in various patient care settings for purposes of obtaining standard diagnostic radiographs. Input and retrieve data from the Hospital and Radiology Medi-Tech System. Work various shifts within the department. Additionally perform any and all job assignments that are requested to be completed in an accurate and timely manner. Demonstrates leadership skills with the ability to delegate and follow-through with decisions including planning directing implementing coordinating and improving services. Perform appropriate lead duties. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Community Hospital of San Bernardino. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. Qualifications
- Two (2) years experience in an acute care hospital setting performing a variety of general diagnostic procedures utilizing ionizing radiation is preferred. Experience with digital imaging systems PACS and basic health care informatics is desired.
- Graduate from an accredited JRCERT Medical Radiography School
- Certification by the California Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CRT)
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in two advanced imaging modalities. May include: CT, MRI, Nuclear Med, Sonography
- Fluoroscopy and Mammography permits required.
- AHA BLS certifications required
- ACR recognized certifications from additional licensing authorities for Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging will be considered.
Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist: are required to have documented competency in lieu of state or national licensure for a second modality. ARRT certification in Cardiovascular Imaging is preferred
Pay Range
$58.36 - $58.36 /hour
