Position: Radiation Therapist

Location: Richmond, KY

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by oncologists.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Monitor patient reactions and progress during treatments, reporting any adverse reactions to the medical team.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Educate and support patients and their families regarding treatment procedures and possible side effects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
• Valid Kentucky state licensure
• Strong knowledge of radiation therapy techniques and equipment.
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a clinical setting.
• Familiarity with treatment planning software.
• mitment to ongoing professional development and education.
