Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Location:Baldwin
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Radiation Therapist to join our team in North Dakota. The ideal candidate will be proficient in administering radiation therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of radiation oncologists, ensuring precise delivery of prescribed doses while prioritizing patient safety and fort.
Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiation therapy treatments according to prescribed plans developed by radiation oncologists.
  • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators, ensuring optimal functionality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Monitor patient reactions to treatment, providing supportive care and addressing any concerns or side effects promptly.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, treatment documentation, and quality assurance protocols in pliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay abreast of advancements in radiation therapy techniques and technology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
  • Valid state licensure as a Radiation Therapist in California.
  • Minimum of 2 yearsof experience working as a Radiation Therapist in a clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in operating radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators and simulation technology.
  • Strong interpersonal and munication skills, with the ability to interact passionately and effectively with patients and interdisciplinary team members.
