JOB SUMMARY
Perform various functions that support the RP (Radiation Protection) organization with decontamination efforts, support with radiological waste, other hazardous substances, and other miscellaneous activities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum experience required of the position:
One year of experience with the related job duties
Desired: Experience with operation of machinery and cranes.

This is a Union position.
Wage (based on level): $43.31 - $48.30/ hour.

JOB SUMMARY
Perform various functions that support the RP (Radiation Protection) organization with decontamination efforts, support with radiological waste, other hazardous substances, and other miscellaneous activities.
JOB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleaning of Radiological Controlled Areas such as the aux building and containment building, as necessary. This is to include decontamination efforts for equipment, tools, rooms, and other various items that need to be cleaned.
- Keeping up with supply inventory and updating the supervisor with the department's needs.
- Obtaining and maintaining qualifications to operate equipment, which include a fork truck and a crane to support radiological waste operations.
- Material handling of up to 100lbs.
- Working with equipment in the Spent Fuel pool and/or the Reactor Cavity including filtration equipment, demineralizer equipment, spent filters, underwater vacuuming, and other various needs.
