Job Description
Principal Accountabilities:
- Performs special/invasive radiology procedures on patients ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures.
- Enters and monitors patient data.
- Performs quality assurance on radiology equipment.
- Identifies and reports any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions.
- Takes emergency call within the department.
- Ensures safe care to patients, staff, and visitors.
- Promotes individual professional growth and development.
- Demonstrates commitment to caring for every member of the community.
- Other duties as assigned.
Must-Haves:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required
- Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required
- Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R), required
- 1 year experience in a Cath Lab setting
