Racquet Sports Teaching Pro

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Tennis Professional at one of the most prestigious country clubs in North Carolina. As a Racquet Sorts Teaching Pro, you will be responsible for instructing and coaching individuals or groups in various Racquet Sports, such as tennis, pickleball, and paddleball. Your primary goal is to help players develop their skills, improve their technique, and foster a love for the sport. This role requires a deep understanding of the specific racquet sport you are teaching, effective communication skills, and the ability to create a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Teaching private and group tennis lessons 35-45 hours weekly including juniors from beginning level, junior team tennis and high school players, women's competitive teams, men's groups, as well as assist in the organization and implementation of socials and special events for both adults and juniors.

Candidates need to possess these attributes:

• College level and tournament playing experience
• Experience with all levels of junior players (all levels from ages 4-18, Junior Team Tennis)
• Coaching women's competitive teams (2.5 - 5.0 players)
• High energy, innovative, high need for achievement
• Strong administrative, promotion and communication skills
• Committed to a team totaling three Teaching Professionals who all report to the Tennis Director and the ability to fit into the club culture
• Minimum 3 years of full-time teaching experience for all ages and levels
• Must have experience teaching Pickleball

Greensboro Country Club has 2 facilities, which have 2 golf courses, 12 tennis courts (9 outdoor & 3 indoor),2 platform tennis courts, 4 pickleball courts,2 swimming pools and world class fitness facility. Our tennis program alone encompasses 110+ women's team tennis players, 60 men and 80+ junior players. This is a great opportunity to build a career.
