The Opportunity:
Reporting to the store leadership team the Retail Store Team Member will perform many responsibilities to provide a high standard of customer service, inventory processing and control while promoting QVC and HSN brands to all who visit our outlet stores. You will be part-time and will report to the store manager.
Your Impact:
Customer Service
- To attend to customer requests promptly and efficiently in effort to build a high degree of customer loyalty, repeat business, and resolve customer issues at first contact.
- To provide a positive representation of QVC to every customer following the brand and values.
- To promote sales by merchandising and product knowledge.
Cashier Responsibilities
- Process sales and refunds through the store's POS system.
- Ensure the till drawer is counted before store opening and discrepancies reported to store management.
- Maintain and complete all necessary documentation for refunds, sales, and voids.
- To inform staff and management of any security issues.
Stock Room Responsibilities
- To receive deliveries ensuring the correct documentation is present
- Check price and ready product for sales floor
- Record any discrepancies on pallets
Merchandise Responsibilities
- Ensure all product is ticketed displaying the correct information.
- Ensure the product from the stock room is brought onto the sales floor and displayed in the correct area
- Report and record any damaged goods not fit for sale.
- Maintain a high standard of store cleanliness and appearance to promote a good image to the customer.
What You Bring:
- High level of customer service standards.
- High level of awareness for health and safety in the workplace.
- Comply with all company procedures.
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or the equivalent.
- Minimum Experience: None
- Preferred Experience: 1 year of retail or customer service experience or in a similar function.
