Advanced Assembly/Summit Colorado has an open position for Quotation Specialist I (1st shift).
The Quotation Specialist I will provide accurate quotes for service, assembly, and/or board fabrications required by our customers. Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve questions and issues that could cause delays for the customer or affect quoted pricing model.
Responsibilities:
- Makes quotation decisions based on supplier availability, price, customer needs, and business policy.
- Identify action items in the quoting process in support of customer quotes to be met in a timely manner.
- Maintain productivity measurements including number of completed per day, cycle time, average mark-up, and buy/quote ratio.
- Communicate performance expectations and provide qualitative feedback to Director of Purchasing regarding performance of suppliers.
- Support gross profit goals by negotiating and controlling product costs, lead times, and quotation quantity requirements.
- Quote builds needed for product using the customers approved BOM, files and quoting procedures.
Compensation/Benefits: Summit offers a variety of health and benefit programs. Which include Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA plans, Hospital and Accident plans, Life Insurance, PTO, and Paid Holidays. Benefits are effective 1st day of the month following date of hire.
Pay Range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 hour based on experience.
