Eataly's bustling marketplaces contain a variety of Quick Service counters featuring coffee and drinks, pastries and gelato, pizza and focaccia, paninis and grab-and-go meal options. The Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) Manager assists with supervising and running the day-to-day operations of the QSR counters.
Reports directly to the QSR General Manager and Assistant General Manager and supervises the QSR staff of service leads, baristas and sales associates.
- Maintains a steady leadership presence on the floor, interacting with guests, team members and vendors to ensure Eataly's operations are running smoothly and high hospitality standards are met
- Collaborates closely with the QSR GM and AGM on certain aspects of management including administrative and financial duties
- Trains, motivates, mentors and organizes team members
- Estimates food and beverage needs, and requisitions or purchases food, beverage, supplies and equipment; receives and checks orders to ensure that they adhere to specifications
- Monitors inventory, checks orders and distributes supplies as needed throughout the department
- Manages transactions and ensures accurate accounting
- Records shift notes and assists with administrative duties such as scheduling when needed
- Ensures department complies with all quality, health, safety and sanitation standards
- Documents, investigates and resolves employee and guest incidents
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
- High school graduate or equivalent; post-secondary degree preferred
- 2+ years of lead or supervisory experience in food service
- Math skills and ability to handle money accurately
- Strong knowledge of steps of service
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of coffee and coffee production
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage preferred
Job Requirements
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
- Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, drink blender, and cash register

The base pay range for this position is $62,400 - $70,000 per year.
