Quick Reaction Force: A Commitment to Excellence
A Quick Reaction Force member is a FULL-TIME Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant committed to a standing call schedule. Upon notification, team members deploy immediately to one of our many Indian Health Service Hospital Emergency Rooms. Currently servicing contracts in South Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Arizona (with 5 new sites pending), the primary goal is to have a standing team available to cover unforeseen gaps in coverage.
What We Offer:
  • Premium on-call salary and exceptional hourly pay for shifts covered. Compensation:
    • On-Call Pay: $100,000 Annual Salary
    • Shift Pay $100.00 / hour
  • Coverage for flights and housing.
  • Call rotation on a 21-28 day cycle, with the opportunity to be scheduled at one of our facilities for standard monthly shifts (10-14/month).
  • QRF Staff Position: Is an exclusive W-2 position with a great benefit package, medical malpractice with tail coverage and free online university education at Arizona State University for the employee or one family member.

In seeking the ideal candidate, we value a combination of knowledge, skills, abilities, and personal characteristics. The successful candidate should possess:
Minimum Applicable Requirements:
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant degree from an accredited institution.
• EM certification or Minimum 2 year's experience in emergency medicine.
• Willingness to travel on short notice.
• No med mal or board issues.
• ACLS, BLS, ATLS (ATLS is still required at some sites for NP/PAs)
• No other employment / contracting (non-compete position)
• Clean background, ie no DUIs
• Ability to be credentialed at all sites.
• Vaccines up to date
• Any state license; unrestricted
